Born of stars we are.
The first stars, at the beginning of the inflation,
they condensed and exploded
making the hard and heavy elements we are.
We are a close proximity swarm of atoms
strongly and weakly held together by the attraction
and repulsion of the simplest of electric charge.
Tiny, tiny, little things at the threshold
of where you can’t decide is that a chunk of matter
or is it the world’s smallest shock:
Of the electric.
